A stunning example of its kind, this cream blouse was handmade in the 1930s or conceivably earlier. Crafted from delicate pale cream lace and detailed with stripes of tulle net, it has pretty scallop hems along the Peter Pan collar and short-sleeves. The front fastens with tiny spherical crochet buttons threaded through fabric loops which add lovely detail. Tailored to a slightly cropped length, this beautiful top has an elasticated peplum waistband. Unlabelled, the blouse in fantastic vintage condition, particularly for a piece likely to be close to a century in age. I cannot find a fault with it and suggest a best fit for a UK 8, US 4.
